My Philosophy

As a college student, I’ve found my passion in telling stories through journalism, social media, photography, and digital communications. I love capturing small, everyday moments you wouldn’t realize you missed until they’re gone. As a candid photographer for The National Horseman magazine, I learned to capture the moments behind the journey outside the show ring and the humanity behind my sport. My iPhone is a digital diary of memories and in attempts to minimize my fear of missing out (or FOMO as most people know it), I take photos to reflect on. I love capturing candid photos of my friends at any chance I get and now, as an aspiring journalist, I use the same philosophy behind my work. From stories like Having A Purpose, CC’s Fashionistas, and The Man Behind the Broadcast, I found deeper stories behind traditional headlines to provide life to athletes and sports.
